That letter is what I`ve been trying to say. The republicans claim to be Christians but some of the ones in politics have been saying terrible things about the poor, blacks, foreign, women, disabled etc. I asked myself what would Jesus do & it wouldn`t be what they`re doing.

Pastor Olsen….all I can say is Thank you for being bold enough to say what a lot of Americans have been thinking. I share your same belief that God is a loving God, not a racist, not a bully, not a hate monger. May you be blessed by the God that loves all of us.

    Dear Rev. Olsen,
Thank you for your referenced analysis of this disturbing trend in “Christian” social commentary. Well done! I hope it reaches many hearts.

Thanks for the letter to Frank (Graham). As a retired pastor and Denominational administrator I struggle with the question of continuing in my church heritage which is Conservative/Evangelical. The struggle is enhanced by the beautiful friendships of many people, including family, in that heritage. Thanks again for your helpful description of Biblical faith as I understand it and which was reflected in the excellent letter to Mr. Graham.
